Elements & Quarters in Wiccan Circle
Formato: Capa comum Compra verificada. In love with every single page! All Wiccan basics very well explained in detail. An amazing view of Ritual. Just finished ;. Very well written book! I read it in 3 days. It covers more of high magick rituals than anything else, but not in such a serious setting like how I would normally concider any high magick.
The author goes over how to use each element in all kinds of ways, even more than only in a high magick manner. Adds meditations as well. This isnt a spell book. Of course, as in the title Worth the read. Even if you dont do high magick. I found this book educational and primarily targeted to those learning the Craft.
As the cover suggests it focuses primarily on the "elementals," air, water, fire, and earth from a Wiccan perspective. Deborah explains clearly why things are done the way they are, providing understanding instead of merely giving recipes or how-to instructions. I would suggest this book for novices who are working with a coven or teacher.
It will help the novice to understand why the teacher does things in a particular way and not some other way, what options might be chosen instead, and how that would change the ritual. It could provide a basis for discussion of the ritual design with the teacher. It's a good "text book" if you will for a teacher to assign to her or his students. For a more experienced reader it has a broad perspective and descriptions of other ways to do the same thing that you may not have thought about in a while.
Just like Laura I am too very attracted by water. This greatly helped me, I was confused in how to figure out my element. I find myself sitting outside on a wet day, or taking hour long showwer. Swimming is my favorite thing todo as well. It scares me how much I relate to this.
But it helped me greatly. I have no doubts that Water is my element now. Okay, is your element based on your star sign? Please help me. I figured I would start by finding my element and listening to it. My problem is I am not sure of what I am. I have read that you are attuned to your element by your birthday.
The Elements of Ritual: Air, Fire, Water & Earth in the Wiccan Circle
I feel like I pulled else where. Is it possible to be another element all together? Hi, I am an Earth element by Zodiac and I question why so few animals are given for it. So my question is are there more animals for earth other than cow, bull, dog, horse, ant, bears and wolf? I just recently have started looking into what I truly believe and am trying to find my element. I have always felt close to fire and I am a leo, but lately I have felt myself pull closer to air.
Is there any way to find out which is truly my element? So, my birthday is May 13th. By old standard I was a Taurus, and by new zodiac, I fall on the last day of Aries and first day of Taurus. Now although, I definitely feel similarites with the earth element, I feel connections with all of the elements. And when I take the online tests, I always get something different. When the test is only on the 4 main elements I mostly get air, though I have gotten one of each. Could this possibly mean that my element is Aether?
Or does my connection to my zodiac mean something else? What is the best way of finding out?
